begin to question

Have you ever noticed how many of us obsess about eating and what kind of food we "should" eat?

Where do our systems come from for eating? Have you ever wondered why we eat the way we do?

What does our body truly need and am I different from the next person?

About 10-12,000 years ago humans began domesticating animals and vegetation.  This means we began preparing soil, planting and growing edibles in an controlled way. This also means that we could not be as nomadic because this kind of work required attention and settling.  This is the point at which we as humans began a partially sedentary lifestyle. It is of course VERY different than today's version. It is our habits that have created challenges for our bodies.

DENY what you will about personal exercise and dieting, our bodies require certain things and others they do not require.  Movement (good and constant) is one and the other is Fuel (excellent and clean). If you think of a car as a simple version of us, its needs motion and fuel to work well generally.  If you think ...AH but there is more to a car than just keeping the joints lubricated and the fuel for octane and spark, then you are correct. If a car becomes undeniably more complex than that, can you imagine the complexity of the human body.

more to come...
